Yesterday I went to JoAnn Fabrics in Monroeville. I am such a fabric whore, I bought so much. it was 1.49/ yard!

Steve took me to see the American Legion Hall today.. aka my reception venue.



its a little bit dark, mostly because they didn't put on allll the lights. but it gives me a good image to figure out tables and centerpieces and such.

wow, i just did like a freaking marathon of picture posting.

and i am still waiting on the damn ups man. the website said my package was "out for delivery" at 5:30 am. i'm afraid to take a shower, and miss him. like last time when i was in the bathroom and the damn guy came.

i am waiting on laura's bridesmaid dress for her wedding. i hope it fits, since it was an online dress, and i couldn't try it on.

So I tried to take my "autumn" picture of that tree i am doing for my mosaic..... but the tree is not cooperating. its all green and brown. no pretty fall pictures. HOW DID I PICK THE ONLY TREE IN WEST VIRGINIA THAT DOES NOT CHANGE A PRETTY COLOR IN THE FALL FOR A MOSAIC PIECE??

So today is the big game day here. WVU vs. Auburn. Its a home game, so the town is nuts.

Only in Morgantown will you come across this.

and what home game isn't complete without fireworks?



don't mind the reflection. i was writing a paper, watching greys, and trying to take this picture. i considered going out on my deck, but the last time i tried to do that with a fireworks display, i missed it before i got out there.

and yes, the stadium is that close. its about a fifteen minute walk. i can hear them sing "country roads" every once in a while.

I went to Lavendar for my weekly lunch date with Stacy, Val, Kathy, and whoever.

i got these bookends at the mineral and rock show a couple of weeks ago.

Here are my froggies. The one bumped his nose and its all swollen and red. Its been like that for a week, and I am concerned. Poor froggie :(

I even called some vets yesterday about it, but they don't have any experience with "exotics." At least they didn't laugh at me (to my face) about calling about a frog.
